My research interests lie in the fields of paleoclimatic reconstruction, especially the reconstruction of monsoon using natural archives. I also work on the isotopic analysis of precipitation to understand the moisture dynamical processes. Additionally, I employ the eddy-covariance based technique to quantify the atmosphere-biosphere carbon exchange and energy fluxes in natural ecosystems. The study of greenhouse gases in the urban environment is another component of my research.
